Mr. Bentley of "The Jeffersons" Dies at Age 70

Paul Benedict, the actor best known by his character Mr. Bentley on the sitcom "The Jeffersons," has died. He was 70.

Found on Martha's Vineyard, authorities were still investigating the cause of Benedict's death.

Benedict began his acting career in the 1960s in the Theatre Company of Boston, but he was mainly known for his role as Bentley in "The Jeffersons," which ran on CBS from 1975 to '85.

MC Breed Dies at Age 37

MC Breed died November 22nd at a friend's home in Ypsilanti, Michigan due to kidney failure.

Hip Hop's most famous product of Flint, Michigan, Breed was best known for his hit singles "Ain't No Future in Yo Frontin'" and the Tupac Shakur collaboration, "I Gotta Get Mine." He released 13 albums over 13 years, starting with the release of his 1991 debut, "MC Breed & the DFC."

Breed moved to Atlanta in the early nineties, but will always be remembered in the Hip Hop community as the MC who put Flint on the map.

Breed leaves a legacy of being one of the first emcees outside of the northeast or California to gain national success, paving the road for other Midwestern artists of the nineties like Common, Bone Thugs, and Harmony, and Tha Alkaholics to follow.

Breed is survived by three daughters, two sons, his parents, two brothers, and a sister.

Old School Tribune offers it condolences to the Breed family. His legacy has been positively etched in the history of Hip Hop.
